July 2025

Hello valued clients and patients!

We are excited to introduce a monthly newsletter called the Shoreview Current which will be a regular update on all things Shoreview!

Each month we will focus on something different, be it educational information on pet care, safety ,allergies or dentals; what’s new in the veterinary world in terms of medications, treatments or even procedures, a little bit of fun with our staff and their pets, and a little bit about what might be happening in the Shoreview Community!

As this is our first official edition of the Shoreview Current, we thought we would highlight our newly formed Shoreview Community Fund!

It’s important to us an independently owned practice to make sure we are a positive contributor to our surrounding community. As a small business, we know how a little support can go a long way, and we want to make sure we give back to the amazing community that has welcomed us with open arms!

We started the Shoreview Community Fund (SCF) with the goal in mind to support three separate groups that are integral to our community as a whole! People, cats and dogs. After careful thought, we have chosen The Bluffs Food Bank, Last Litter Dog Adoption and Fostering and Team Cat Rescue as our respective partners when it comes to helping our community. All three of these groups are made up of dedicated volunteers who have a passion for bettering the lives of people and their pets!

We have been working with Last Litter and Team Cat Rescue by providing spays and neuters and other necessary procedures on rescues, fosters and newly adopted pets when needed. We raised money last holiday season for Bluffs Food Bank and will continue to find creative ways to help.

Each event that we host where we obtain donations such as the raffle at our recent One Year Anniversary or the “pay what you can” pet photos with Santa that we did last holiday season, will go toward these groups. We will also have the proceeds from the ongoing sale of our beautiful new Shoreview leashes go into the SCF as well!

We plan to present these monetary donations to these respective groups once a year with great appreciation for how they have dedicated themselves to making the lives of people and pets just a little bit easier!

Next time you come in, take a look at our Shoreview Leashes and think about buying one for a good cause or just ask us about how you might become involved with a donation or a prize to raffle off for our next event. We’re always looking for ways to support our community and you never know what we might come up with if you have an idea you’d like to share!

Thank you for reading the first edition of the Shoreview Current! See you next month!
